Why We Do What We Do
"To Project Linus: My name is Rachel Holland and I am nine years old. When I was in the hospital sleeping I woke up and realized a blanket. It touched my heart for someone like you people to make it for me. Including that dog, too. I felt happy and loving in my heart to see a beautiful blanket. Thanks so much and God bless you. Sincerely, Rachel."
Anyone, any age, can help children like Rachel. If you would like to volunteer to help, please contact us.

Ways You Can Help
Q. How can I help?
A. Contact us and become a Blanketeer! Make a new, handmade, washable blanket and donate it to your local chapter of Project Linus. It will be give to a deserving child to keep. If you are not inclined to make a blanket, monetary donations are gratefully accepted. Project Linus is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization.
Q. What type of blanket does Project Linus accept?
A. Project Linus welcomes blankets of all styles, including quilts, tied comforters, fleece blankets, crocheted and knitted afghans, and receiving blankets in child friendly colors. Blankets must be new (made with new materials), handmade, and washable. You don't have to be an expert! Elaborate or simple, they are all beautiful to a child.
Q. What size is preferred?
A. Project Linus accepts blankets of all sizes. We donate to children ages infant through teen years, so any size is appropriate. Local chapters' needs may vary depending on the facilities to which they donate. Contact us for more information.
