Listed below are the themes for 2011. If you need help with a pattern, please go to http://www.quilterscache.com/QuiltBlocksGalore.html and you should find patterns for each theme. Because I am late getting this out, you can turn in January’s theme through the end of February. Remember, you receive bonus blanket bucks for every theme blanket you turn in. Also, bonus blanket bucks are given for every patriotic blanket turned in.

Blanketeers, I Need Your Help!

• When you turn in a blanket please make sure it has your name, telephone number and date turned in.
• Make blankets from NEW, CLEAN, WASHABLE materials in infant, child or teen-friendly colors.
• Make blankets from cotton fabric, flannel, polar fleece, minkie, cotton or acrylic yarn.   Rug yarn does not make a snuggly blanket.
• Please do not make blankets out of tapestry, burlap, felt, upholstery fabric, 70s type double knit, vinyl, wool or wool yarn.
• Crochet, knit, quilt or tie your blankets.
• Check and double-check your blanket carefully for straight pins.
• Please do not attach buttons or other embellishments that a child can swallow.
• Be Creative!
